Wavestate Volume 9 by Marc Barnes requires Firmware 2.0

I present to you my ninth bank of performance patches for the amazing Korg Wavestate in line with the new Wavestate 2.0 update. Volume 9 contains 20 meticulously crafted custom performances, over 80 custom programs and 95 custom multi-samples. The addition of user multi-samples has allowed the character from other synthesisers to live inside our Wavestate.

Volume 9 features brand new multisamples from the, Arturia Matrixbrute, Behringer 2600, Dreadbox Erebus, Hammond Organ, Korg Minologue XD, Kurzweil K2000R, Moog Grandmother, Roland AX Edge and Roland Tr8. It also features some recorded vocals from my wife Cheryl.

I’d also like to thank my good friend Thorsten Heinze for providing the waveforms from the Matrixbrute and the Behringer 2600.

Disclaimer about multi-samples. Most of the multi-samples (with a few exceptions) have been constructed to be played in the range of the wavestate keyboard. If you play very high notes you might experience aliasing and noticeable looping.

Some samples have also been processed using Mr Wiggly’s incinerator plugin. It can be bought from here :

To install you must install the sample bank first and have 1GB of Bank storage and 42MB of sample Ram available on your Wavestate. A video of how to install the multisamples can be found at this link.

You should then install the programs then the performances.

To install programs/performances import the files using the Wavestate librarian. If you have bought previous sound banks you may get duplicate warnings. In that case click make unique.

This product has been tested and is fully compatible with Korg Wavestate Native Software.
